Make a bold statement with this stunning necklace, a captivating masterpiece handcrafted by Navajo silversmith Angela Martin. This unique piece features exquisite Navajo pearls elegantly interspersed with White Buffalo turquoise pendants, creating a harmonious blend of texture and color. Each pendant showcases Martin’s incredible skill and vision as well as the timeless allure of White Buffalo turquoise. A wearable work of art, this necklace seamlessly embodies Navajo traditions and contemporary style.

Discovered in 1993, White Buffalo turquoise is only found in the Dry Creek Mine of Tonopah, Nevada. The name derives from the Native American belief that white buffaloes are pure and rare much like the unique stone. Unlike traditional blue turquoise found in copper mines, it develops exclusively near magnesium deposits which alters the stone’s pigmentation. A symbol of Native American heritage, this exceedingly rare gemstone commands a high price due to its scarcity.
